Some countries allow old people to work to any age that they want. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In this day and age, it can be argued that permission for old people to work to any ages they like brings both benefits and drawbacks. While I agree that there are abundant advantages for this issue, I strongly believe the disadvantages far outweigh theirs positive aspect.

First of all, there are many good things to allow old people to retire whenever they want. In my opinion, the most crucial benefit is their experiences which are not only helpful for their jobs but also bring many profits to their employers. For instance, wide range companies attach great importance to employ experienced staff because these experiences enable their employees to solve serious problems. In addition, old people are more likely to stay calm and patient than young people and the pressure resistance ability is a case in point.

On the other hand, it is indisputable that the bad points due to letting people work to any ages are numerous. In my view, people in old age are not active like young people because of conservative way of working, and they do not accept the risks so their jobs are stable but do not develop as much as possible. Furthermore, some kinds of job require health and strength which are impossible for old people so this can exert bad effect on the efficiency of work and limited receptive ability is as an example.

In conclusion, despite advantages of letting people work to any ages they want, there are huge disadvantages accompanied. Personally, I fully approve that drawbacks are significantly more than benefits.
