People have various views about the amount of money paid for organizing the Olympic Games. While some people believe that the Olympic games help bring people from various countries together, I believe that it could be more useful to spend that money on a hundred other crucial issues.
On the one hand, the option to run the Olympic Games is attractive for several reasons. The main reason is that from the organization of the Olympics, it can be seen that somewhere around us there are still kind hearts, the leaves protect tattered ones, making people more united. For instance, athletes help opponents when they are injured, creating beautiful friendships across borders. Or business integration. Entrepreneurs will cooperate with each other to create numerous products and great sources of income.
On the other hand, I believe that it will be better if use that money for other noble purposes. According to UNESCO, today there are about 58 million children who are illiterate and 100 million who do not complete primary programs all over the world. This is an alarming number for today's high-tech and the modern world. From that, it can be seen that building schools to enhance knowledge for children in general and poor children, in particular, is really more of a necessity. Well-educated children will be the most useful workforce for the country, helping the people of that country to become more civilized and grow stronger.
In conclusion, there are good reasons why money should be spent on the Olympic Games, on the contrary in my opinion, constructing schools for children is more necessary.
