Some / any

It might be that nobody within Hogwarts has yet realised anything is wrong.

Can somebody tell me? Would there be any difference if without “anything” was used “something” ?

There is not much difference.

1) Maybe nobody realizes that anything is wrong.

2) Maybe nobody realizes that something is wrong.

To my ear 2) suggests more strongly that something is definitely wrong, and somebody had better start paying attention. That makes the characters in 1) seem more "blissfully ignorant" or "unsuspecting" of what might happen next.
