Thank you.

Does the phrase "A certain Mr. Bean" mean a particular Mr. Bean, not just any Mr. Bean who can be many in numbers?

Sorry, should I capitalize "A" there or use a lower case?
0
lower case.

a certain Mr. Bean = a man who said he was Mr. Bean = a man called Mr. Bean = someone who goes by the name of Mr. Bean

a certain followed by a name is not a commonly used pattern.

Hi,

Although it's theoretically possible that someone might say "some Mr. Bean", it would be unusual.

Saying "some man" is more typical and makes more sense because it would be used to refer to a man about whom the speaker knows absolutely nothing -- not even the name.
