Solving Riddle Require numbers

an odd birch i found was even in length with oak and spruce. It is always quite odd, though, to find your oak in the jungle, even in comparison to that darn birch.

I need to figure out a series of numbers, i believe i need 6 total (may be wrong, so suggest if u think otherwise) in order. then the numbers i can use are 1-8.
