Solve the riddle

I borrowed £50 of my mam an £50 of me dad dats £100. I bought a shirt for £97. I have £3 in change. I give mam £1 an dad £1 and I keep £1. I owe mam £49 and dad £49 dats £98 plus the £1 I kept where's the other £1 gone??
