Solve, resolve

0 Would you tell me how to differentiate "solve" and "reslove"? They seem to be the same. Thanks a lot. 0-

0'Resolve' has more different meanings than 'solve'. but where their meanings overlap (and they are in fact often used synonymously), 'solve' usually indicates merely the finding of the answer, where 'resolve' also carries the idea of finding the answer by drawing together various data, differences of fact or opinion, etc-- it has a more logical edge to it. 0-
