Solutions for a polluted city

I must write a small compositon about "Solutions for a polluted city". I've written four paragraphs about this theme and I'd like someone could correct its for me. Thanks in advance.

Pollution is a chronic problem around the world. Many cities don’t know how can they get rid of the waste. The almost of vehicles rises each day and, because this, the air pollution is growing up in the same way. The sewage is another kind of pollution which the cities must to face it. Obviously, the set of pollution problems is huge and there isn’t a magic solution for its. But, with small behavior changes it’s possibly to improve the cities’ environment.

The simple habit of to put the junk in the wastebasket is a small gesture which can do the difference about the city pollution. Naturally, the correct garbage collector is very important too. However, the cities have been faced with a fundamental question: what should they do with the waste? The key answer for this question is: recycling.

Another little gesture that can help the cities to deal with the pollution is the use of the public transport rather than the car or motorcycle. An attitude like that, contribute to reduce the traffic in the cities and, consequently, improve the air quality. But, what can the citizens do if the public transports aren’t good? An ecological option is: to ride bike.

Therefore, little changes can help the cities to become a better place to live. And each for us may give a contribution to reduce the pollution.
