Our colleague reported that the building occupants on the 4th floor of ABC building complained that the poor indoor quality was found including the higher humidity and lower indoor temperature after installation of new air conditioning system.
Referring to the recent site measurement for the new performance of air conditioning system in May 2018, it was found that four key factors to trigger the poor indoor quality that are included the fresh air with low temperature at or below 22oC and high relative humidity above 80%, increasing new fresh air flow rate by about 700% (from 0.2 to 1.6 m3/s), existing AHU design (Sensible Heat Factor (SHF) by about 0.7) incapability to handle the new higher latent heat load and higher SHF of new air conditioner design causing new latent heat load to the building.
Please arrange relevant parties to rectify the problem of new air conditioning system, thereby satisfying the occupant complaint.
