Grammar

SOFTLY

Dear Teachers,

1. She talks to me softly.

2. She invites me to go into her house politely.

- Are these grammatical?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Sentence number 1 is fine. As to the second one, I'd change it slightly to 'She politely invites me (in)to her house'.

You may also say these,

'She invited me over (to her place)' 'She invited me along to her place for dinner'.
If you live close to her, you might say 'She invited me around to her place for supper one evening'.

Best wishes,
