Is my sentence correct English? Dictionaries don't have SOFT COPY:

-You introduced an app that allows us to take a photo of pages of books and then turn them into soft copy/a soft copy/soft copies from their hard copy/copies.

The term a hard copy is well established, but I have never heard anyone say a soft copy.
