Society is based on rules and laws. It could not function if individuals were free to do whatever they wanted. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Our society is formed and developed by rules and laws. I believe that all the individuals of the society must obey certain rules in order to maintain a safe and discipline society for the following reasons

First of all, laws and structures prevent human from executing negative actions. If individuals are permitted to do whatever they want, the consequences will be dramatically bad for there are no rules preventing them from doing what they desire which lead to chaos and crimes of a society. This will eventually bring the extinction of mankind. Laws and structures are necessary to build a secure and safe society.

Second, laws protect our rights as citizens. It gives us the opportunities to fight for our protection fairly through trial and holds someone accountable for their actions. For example, if someone gets into a car accident and they got injured, then they can use laws to protect their rights by suing the person who hits them or make them pay for their action. However, if there were no laws, no one would have to worry about getting into car accidents as there would be no repercussions. This could lead to a lot of people being injured or killed, as there would be no one to hold them accountable.

In conclusion, humanity has been developing along with legislation. Without it, the human race will fall apart and become chaos
