Hippocrates - known as the father of medicine. Socrates- was the philosopher. Pythagoras- was the first pure mathematician. Archimedes- was the greatest mathematician and leading scientist. Homer- was the greatest poet and writer. Sophocles- wrote plays for Greek traditions. Plato- was the student of Socrates, philosopher and a mathematician. Aristotle- was the student of Plato, teacher of Alexander the Great, philosopher. These are the exciting jobs in Ancient Greece! :]
