SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

Dear Teachers,

1. I went out with this girl my freshman year in high school.

- I think "in my freshman year" is better, right?

2. In the summer she broke it off with basically the same things you mentioned your ex said.

- "break it off" means "break up with someone", right?

3. All Americans must have social security number? What is it used for? Is it applied only in American? how about in Europe?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.

When you file your taxes, you file by your SSN. And of course, your earnings will affect how you get in Social Security benefits when you retire. Also, in order to claim your children as a tax deduction, they must have an SSN. (This year
