Hi there!
I have found the following sentence one the Web: "However, their love for one another was NEVER so evident as it was on their wedding day." I'm wondering now if the meaning changes somehow when I replace "so evident as" with "as evident as"? Is there actually any difference between these constructions? Thanks in advance!

No. The meaning doesn't change.
It was once advised that a sentence with a negative should use 'so ... as ...' where the corresponding affirmative used 'as ... as ...'. This "rule" is almost universally ignored these days.
