'so that structures' are always confusing.

'so that structures' are always confusing!

I have learned that so that with 'a comma' like ,so that...implies a result and so that with 'may' implies a cause and then how can I interpret the sentence? Or either way is fine and there is no meaning difference?

What do you native English speakers think? Thank you so much as usual!

Hans51 and so that with 'may' implies a cause I don't see that. Hans51 Or either way is fine and there is no meaning difference? That seems to be the case here.
