1.We are going to stay in a nice hotel- the same like famous actors.
2.I am interested in learning foreign languages and so I have taken note on your offer.

I know which versions of them are correct, but I am not sure if the above sentences are considered to be wrong or not. Maybe the same thing could be said in two different ways
