So, I met with your science teacher today.

Father: So, I met with your science teacher today.

Daughter: Oh, yeah? What did he say?

Does "met with" in the above mean 'talked with" and "discussed with?" Thanks.

"talked with", yes.
But not exactly "discussed with", because you can't simply "discuss with someone". You have to discuss something with a person. However, you can "have a discussion with someone".
