So fun

Hi

Is the underlined a natural expression? I heard it on TV the other day. Or did I mishear?

A- They're all coming tonight for dinner.

B- So fun. (sarcastically)

Thanks,

Tom

Fun is a noun, so standard English is such fun. But younger people tend to use 'fun' as an adjective. eg That was a fun movie.
