So do I..

"Tom likes swimming, but he doesn't like playing basketball."
" So it is with me"
I wonder if I can answered " So do I" here.

No you can't. " So do I " is affirmative only so can't be used with " he doesn't ".

If we say " She doesn't like eating"
and we answered "So do I" is wrong, right? ^_^
