Snow sweeper

- The truck which is used for sweeping snow a way is called a "snow sweeper", right? Are there any other common names?

Thanks so much to Teachers,

How do they 'sweep' it? I think you are speaking of a snowplow (not a 'snow sweeper') or a truck with a plow blade attached to its front end.

Where I lived we also called it a grader or snow grader. I think these are more elaborate and versatile than snow plows as they are used for a greater variety of tasks moving very large quantities of snow, especially along highways.

Hi,

I don't see why not.

In Canada, we use machines that blow the snow to one side. We call them 'snow blowers'.
