Just wondering if "snow has melted and snow is melted" are both correct?

Hi i just want to ask you, when we talk about the passive voice we find that we have to use have been or has been so how it can be corrected?? That Snow is melted or snow has melted even though has is used with the subject in active voice sentences. And If is these both are correct so explain their meaning also. kindly reply me ASAP I am pretty confused.
