snob, put them down

I am very poor that no one of my neighbours would talk to me. It is worth to put them down as snobs. They hardly speak to me and, even in a ceremony occasion, they would not invite me. So I moved out from there and moved into the "****" village, and here all people are poorer than me. Now I am so busy that I hardly speak to my neighbours, and they all think I am a snob.

Are these sentences correct?
