Snap "Hands!" at

You have written "Hand!" in one place, and "hands!" in another. Which is it?

"snap" means speak sharply, e.g. in irritation. Is there any reason in the story why she would want to say "Hand!" or "Hands!"?

Oh, I'm sorry for that mistake, the right word is "hands!". This is a link of that fiction I've read: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9092558/9/Remembering. Hi

I'm guessing, but if she is worried about giving away position, then I assume she is on a radio in a combat area

Therefore 'Hands!' could be code for something like 'All hands on deck!' or 'Hand grenades!'

Do let us know!

Ah, OK

'Hands!' (usually spoken by a woman) means: You have just touched me and I don't want you to because we don't know each other well enough
