I was wondering if "snack bar" can mean something other than "a small restaurant where light meals are served"? I couldn't find any other meanings and I can't really figure out the meaning of a sentence. I'm providing the full context:
"His family realised he was missing and a massive search was launched. But they had to wait for three long days before they finally heard that some fishermen had rescued him. Mr Richards survived for three days on a mixture of dried noodles and snack bars which had floated ashore from his boat. Mr Richards knew he would be rescued eventually because there were a lot of boats in the area."
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this.
