It's an expression I was thinking about using if it makes sense of course. I want it to mean to look at someone sharply while smiling at the same time. Like:

Jennifer says "Maybe you should give him some space?"

Kaitlyn looks up, smiles sharply at Jennifer before responding sarcastically "Oh like you're giving your husband?"
