Small question about infinitive form

I know that I can use this form:
"He has just advised me what to buy for our common friend's birthday"

But I don't know can I use a bit different form:
"He has advised me what a present to buy"
"He has advised me what a kind of gift to buy"

Top answer

He has just advised me what to buy for our friend's birthday. He has advised me what present to buy. He has advised me what kind of gift to buy.

  • He has just advised me what to buy for our friend's birthday.
  • He has advised me what present to buy.
  • He has advised me what kind of gift to buy.
