Usually this means sustaining an injury that normally would keep a person from doing their normal activities. I have only heard it in a negative sense: that accident did not slow you down a bit!

Usually this means sustaining an injury that normally would keep a person from doing their normal activities. I have only heard it in a negative sense: that accident did not slow you down a bit!
