slip into your seat

You slip into your seat at the dining table, put on a harness and then up, up, and up you go!

Hi,
Is it correct to interpret "slip into" in the above as "have a seat quickly?" Thanks.

Hi,
Yes. Quckly and easily, and possibly quietly.
