Hello,Is my sentence correct?Leaves have waxy coatings which allow them to slide off water from their leaves.Thanks a lot for response.

What is "them"? It is "leaves", of course. So you have said,

Leaves have waxy coatings, and the waxy coatings allow the leaves to slide off water from their leaves.

That sounds like the leaves have leaves, too.

No, the sentence can't be right.

The waxy coatings allow water to slide off the leaves.

PS; an untimely rooster is the one which sings a song at 3 or 4 am not at 7 or 8 am. I don't know if in English you have a synonym for untimely roosters.

Water slides off leaves BECAUSE OF their waxy coatings
