Sleight of hand

Hi,

"I wish I could do tricks, but I don't have (the) sleight of hand."

I'm not sure if 'the' can be used here or if it should always be left out.

Thank you.

Ann225 I'm not sure if 'the' can be used here 'the' is extremely rare with 'sleight of hand'. And so is 'have'. You can use sleight of hand (to deceive someone), but you don't have it.
