sleepy 3

I rolled off the bed and brushed my teeth and changed. It was 8:20 and my dog must have heard me moving around my room because he was whining, a request to take him with me. Of course, I couldn't this time because I would have to leave him in the car in the hot afternoon sun during the interview. I petted him and hit the road.

Are there any mistakes?
Thanks.

Thanks, Feebs!

On second thought, would it be better to say would have had?
