Hi!

Is there any word for "lying down face up"?

How about the counterpart of it? "Lying down on one's chest/stomach.

I can't think of one word.

You don't really need 'down', since 'lying' implies 'down'.

We often say 'lying on one's back'.

Apparently supine is a rather formal word. Here is my dictionary's example.

We walked along the beach, past the rows of supine bodies soaking up the sun.

Check out this corpus. I skimmed through it and it seems supine is often used figuratively.
