I've never heard anyone say, "I slept at around 10." People say either "I went to bed around ten" or "I fell asleep around ten" (or "I slept for about eight hours").

Don't they ask "What time did you sleep last night?"

No. You are mistaken. We ask, "What time did you go to sleep last night?"
