slant slope or angle

How would you write this sentence please?
The stage angles / slopes / slants sharply left.
The stage angles / slopes / slants sharply to the left.

Thank you First choice: slopes sharply to the left. Second choice: slants sharply to the left. I probably wouldn't use "angles".

Second choice: slants sharply to the left.

I probably wouldn't use "angles". In fact, I don't think I ever use "angle" as a verb.
