Slang?

Hello

I have a question about slang.

When I talk with native speaker especially wit my friends in US, they often says " What's up?" " Sweet !" " gonna...." "Awesom" etc.

Since then, I noticed that I'm learning very polite English word in Japan.

How do you talk with your friends by using slang or shorten words.

Please tell me.

Thank you.

Haruka Okumura How do you talk with your friends by using slang or shorten words. To use slang, you simply have to know slang words and expressions! Presumably you have learned a lot of non-slang words, so whatever you did to learn those, use the same techniques to learn slang words.

Thanks for asking the question regarding slangs Haruka, indeed its correct that without learning Slang we probably couldn't understand the semantics of their conversation.

For example

1. What a sap! = He/She is silly.
2. Green Thumb = the special talent for gardening/ the ability to make anything grow

3. Check out the quail = Look up the woman.

Besides that
