Vocabulary

slack off and slow down

Hello,
Is it idiomatic to use both: "Business slacks off/slows down during the winter months."? I googled them and results did come up. I don't really trust Google, so what do you think? Do they suit the context?

P.S. We could just use "slack" as an adjective and say "Business is usually slack during the winter months."
Thank you Emotion: smile
