skip off

Could you please help me with this?
I thought "skip off" means kind of quickly disappearing. What does that mean in this picture? Its name is "skipping off into tunnel", and why they haven't used "the" before tunnel.

True and thanks for your reply. Can you please tell me which parts are incorrect. The relation between the caption and the picture? And the "the", I've spoken of it?

Hi,

I interpret 'skipping off' as casually and suddenly leaving.

I keep telling you that the phrase sounds like a caption.Minor words are often omitted from a caption.
A full sentence would be
eg We are skipping off into this tunnel.

There is nothing in this language that suggests a sexual aspect. That's a matter of your interpretation.
