skip in front at supermarket

How would you correctly write the sentence if at a supermarket and pregnant?
I'm not far along enough to skip in front of everyone at the supermarket checkout line.

I wasn't sure you could say"not far along enough" or " skip in front" or "AT a checkout LINE"
Would someone else tell me what they think. I'm not convinced.
