Ski tracks

I was taking a ski lift up the mountain but my skis got lodged in the tracks of other skiers and I fell off.

Can I use 'get lodged in' in this example?

Thank you.

I don't know what you mean by "get lodged in" ski tracks when you are riding a ski lift.. Here is a picture with a ski lift and ski tracks in the snow on the ground.
