I came across the phrase 'skewed young' sometime ago - in the sense of 'inclined to be young' / 'tended to be young.' I can no longer locate the original context in which I saw it (maybe something along the lines of 'his audience skewed young' or 'his audience is skewed young'), but I remember wondering what parts of speech the two words are, and I still wonder about it.
Is skew a verb and young an adverb here?
Thank you.
