Hi, I want to know which of the following is correct?
1. The sizes of these shirts are the same
2. The size of these shirts is the same

Neither is very natural. I'd say "These shirts are the same size".

If the noun after "of" i.e.shirts is plural, should the noun before "of" i.e.size be in singular or plural form?

Here is how I see it.

"The size of these shirts" implies that they are all the same size.
"The sizes of these shirts" implies that they come in different sizes.
