Hello,
I've been taught that "grade" (in the context of a school) is an AmE term.
I'd like to use a BrE one in this sentence: "The boy has an intellectual disability, which puts him at a six-grade level."
What word should I use instead? Form or class? To be at (or maybe on?) a six-class/six-form level?
Thank you
When I lived in England years ago, we said 'form'. Clive
