00I've read the rules for the forum, but could not find a place to post this message, that is why, I'm doing it here and count on your understanding.02br

00I'm writing a diploma paper on 'script prototypicallity and it's significance in vocabulary retrieval' and don't have any major problems with the theory in it. I have to carry out a study or research on different situations and prototypical words or phrases used in those situations. The problem is, I'm not a native speaker, and don't know how a prototypical situation e.g. at the doctor's, looks like. I have already managed to write down some phrases used (in my opinion) when making a call, or when being at the airport (preparing for the flight and the flight itself)02br

00The thing is, I have to write down, at least 12-20 phrases for each situation, so I'm still missing some vocabulary for making a phone call, with at least three other situations, to which I haven't got any vocabulary.02br
02br
00If anyone feels like helping me, please give me some some hints or prompts, what kind of phrases can I use in other situations (with prototypical order) e.g. shopping, at the doctors, at the hairdresser, eat out, at a football match, buying sth, etc.02br
02br
00I'd also like to emphasize that it's cannot be only a sheer dialogue, there have to be some words that aren't so widely know by second/foreign language learners (like engaged line, to put through, or hold in a phone call conversation)02br
