Situation English

Hi

I just stumbled upon the term situational English in an article by and Indian writer. It was something like this.

The language institutes must teach situational English to improve fluency and enrich vocabulary.
[making the students speak on different (random) situations]

Does the underlined phrase sound natural to your native ears?

Thanks,

Tom
