Sit back

What I mean is sit all the way back on a sofa.
Can this be reilterated as the following?
1. Sit back on the sofa ( not to mean relax)
2. Sit deep on the sofa
3. Something else?

Top answer

To me it simply says to sit so that your back is against the rear upright part of the sofa. I'm not sure how one would "sit deep" on the sofa.
