singular/plural????


hi guys...
really not sure which is more correct:

1) Both households exemplify typical South African contexts

OR
2)Both households exemplify a typical South African context.

Hi John, What do you mean by "context"? In any case, if there is ONE element that you want to talk about, use "a" and if there are many, then use the plural. But the sentence doesn't really make sense to me, as-is, because I don't get your use of "context" here.
