Singular vs plural

Hello, ..

Would you please take a look at the following statement? (I came across this reading online)

"Despite having fifteen launch titles between its Japanese and North American debut, the GameCube was also the first Nintendo console to be released without a Mario game at launch."

Shouldn't "debut" there be "debuts"?
