Singular 'their'?

Hi,

To my knowledge, "Their" can be also used as a singular pronoun.

Both have their (own) faults.

Is the 'their' in the sentence above a fine example of a singular 'their'?

Thanks

No. 'Both' is a plural pronoun, so 'their' is unexceptional. 'Each has their own faults' is an example of a singular 'their'.
