Singular or plural?

I got word problems.Is it,(The crowds love you or The crowd loves you)?Example words like people and crowds.Is there such sentence many peoples or many people?What i know is if you want to make the nouns plural,you need to add 's' on the back of the word.Can someone help me?Thanks
